Just a note to be careful. I was out a week and a half ago helping set up some game cameras and apparently got into some poison ivy/oak. Had to go get a shot and still hasn't gone away yet, at least all of it.

You can get it year round bud. There is no safe time for those of us that are alergic to it even in the winter months when the leaves are off. Sorry bout your luck man

when I was little I could have rolled in it and it not bother me. now days it seems all I have to do is look at it.

i am just the opposite. years ago i could just walk by it an get eat up. now i can pick it. we were camped below norris dam once and the kids(both never had any reactions from poison ivy)were playing on a bank covered in it. the kid in the next camp wanted to go play with them but the parents said that they couldn't(don't blame them at all) and my kids would soon be suffering. i went and picked a handful and said"this stuff?" i thought she was gonna faint. :D
