Thread somewhere about checking your zero before the season. This is what I always do, just seems like a good idea. Before the Juvi we checked and all were good. Thursday i get home and my Son tells me he wanted to swap scopes on the 280 and I said sure, after the season. Look on his face told me something was up and sure enough, Son tells me he started to swap it out and thought he should wait for me. So i look, seems like he loosened up the ring screws but not far. I gently tightened them back up and Friday AM I hit the MSSA range.
Glad i went. Shot 1 I kind of stared for awhile thinking how glad I was our lease has no super long shots and then I marched the scope back to where I want it for the expected shooting distance. This is a Nosler book max IMR4350 load behind a 140 grain Accubond. Left it alone after shot 5
