We put in 4 smaller plots out a ridge top that add up to about 1.5 acres and now it is getting a good rain. If they do as good as they did last year we will be in great shape. We have 2 more farms which have bigger plots to get done in the next few days. Won't be long and these pics will be green, Biologic Maximum!

Good looking dirt!
last year was our first time putting one on this Jackson county ridge and it surprised me that the dirt looked this good. These ridges tend to be real rocky and red clay and the bottom land is the best along the river but this ridge ain't bad at all.

Looks good! I got my No Plow with chicory mixed in planted yesterday(Labor Day). I was going to wait but with so much rain in the forecast this week - and the fact that the ground already had plenty of moisture - I decided to go ahead and get it done.
