Food Plots Plot Prep - What should I spray?

As I prepare to sow rye grains, radishes and clover in my plots...should I first spray with cleth or a light-dose of glyphos prior to my fall planting? The plot originally had a mix of ladino and WTI imperial. I unfortunately had this long to spray because my sprayer just arrived today at TSC. I anticipate that the clover will come back but I know I should help it by ridding it of competition.

Looks like heat and moisture stress on the clover to me. Mow high and see if it doesn't bounce back this fall.

I agree. A good rain and it will take off again.

Your clover is just doing what clover does in hot weather, it goes into a semi-dormancy and will start to pull out of it around mid- September if you have adequate moisture. Mow it and then spray with clethodim when the grass starts growing again.

You guys were right. We broadcast rye grain & oats into the plot as well as 200# of 0-20-20 on Sunday. Monday morning it rained pretty good. On Thursday it was bush hogged. I got a call from my uncle and he says that the clover almost looks like it did at its peak. I'll get pics next week.
