The farm we are hunting has corn on it( 500 of 900 acres) and the Farmer will follow with Wheat this year.
With all the corn that will be on the ground after harvest and then the wheat going in, should we even waste time and money on food plots away from the big fields?
We have several small fields that we were talking about putting plots in to try to attract deer into. But we already know how the corn and wheat are both Deer magnets!
What should we do???

Its really up to you but i know in some of the places i hunt that have big Ag fields such as soybeans and corn the food plots dont work as well. just watch the fields and figure out where and what they are using the most. If you do your homework it will most likely pay off more than the plots.
