Plot for Cows and Deer

I have about 5 acres that I want to plant. Is there a perennial that is good for deer and cows?

if cows are in it, dont expect to see many deer in it. ive seen cows run deer out of fields before if they get to close.

Without a doubt clover. I've seen plenty of deer in our cow pastures so I'd go for it. Might not hurt to put an electric fence up so you can close the cows from the plot when you want to hunt it, they will run the deer off sometimes.

How many cows? If only one or two, you may want to cross fence and rotate them and not over graze leaving some for deer.

I know turnips are good when cows are in the same field because the cows will just eat the greens and deer will dig up the turnips themselves.
