JW wanted a lighter bbl than the 28 inch heavy varmint to cut down from the 18 pounds..
Had Greg at Bugholes send Tim a Brux Rem Varmint weight 6.5 8 twist bbl and then Tim did his magic on it..
Chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua.

It shoots the 130 VLDH and anywhere from 40 to 41.5 H4350 pretty much the same as 100 yards, at and under .250 ..gotta mo e back some to see what it really likes the best..

Atlas Spigot mount bipod
Stiller 20 taper rail
Barrett's 15 to 40 adjustable taper rings
Sightron SIII 8 to 32x56 MOA2 scope with 70 MOA elevation from 100 yard zero
Brux 6.5mm 8 twist at 25 inches from Claunch Customs

I think JW is gonna try and steal it..lol

I've had that rifle a few years..its had a couple 6mm BRDX barrels, a 243 barrel and 2 6.5x47 barrels..up till now they have all been 28 inch HV tapers that put the rifle at over 17 pounds...

The Rem Var taper has cut way down on that, it seems to shoot just as good but I will have to check my rate of fire, if JW will let me shoot it..lol

Only thing that sucks about tim doing a rifle if it don't shoot you are most definitely the problem

That has definitely been the case so far. Both my 280ai he has done for me are freaks. One will stack 160 nab into around .5 for 10 shot groups while the other easily shoots in the .2s with 168vld or 180 hybrids.
