Ok going to make me a mix of Sorghum, Soybeans, and Peas ! Was looking to buy from Welter's seed, After contacting them, they told me there Soybean/Sorghum Milo mix was 90% Soybean, and 10% Milo.
Here's were I get confused ! Others have told me a good mix for these are =
(PER ACRE)
25 lbs. Soybeans
20 lbs. Peas
5 lbs. Sorghgum/Milo
Welters reccomends 150 lbs. per acre for the Soybean/Milo mix & 50 lbs. per acre for the Peas when put into a mix !
Why are they reccomending such a high rate ?
I was thinking I could take a 50 lbs. bag of the Soybean/Milo mix and half the bag ! That should get me with 20 lbs. soybeans, and 5 lbs. Milo RIGHT ???
Then take a 50 lbs. bag of the Peas, and half it for 25 lbs. of Peas ! Combine all this together and that should get me at =
20 lbs. Soybeans
25 lbs. Peas
5 lbs. Sorghum
FOLLOWING ME ??? Which should be real close to what I have been told for a mix like this !
I am just wondering what yall's take on this is, and if this would be enough to cover 1 acre ? It just has me concerned with looking at Welters reccomended planting rates !
Please help me out on this if you can ! I would really appreciate it ! and any reccomendations you can give me would be very apprecited !
PLEASE HELP ME !!!!
