Please help me guess the age from this low quality picture.
It is the only pic I have of this guy. I ran the camera for one week on this small farm and probably should stay away if this guy is only 3.5. If he shows up, I'll have to shoot him out of principle.

I adjusted the brightness and contrast to show the buck a little better. He's no doubt mature. I'd be tickled to shoot him if given the opportunity. Best of luck with him this winter.

By the way Andy S. u did good on adjusting that pic. Great work you did there.

you will never see that deer in daylght.
Please explain.

He is not in daylight in the pic.
He did not get that big by being dumb.
Not many big deer ever come out during gun season, they have been pressured so much.
Most doe's are bred by smaller or what i call inferior bucks
Your area could be full of big deer but when the season opens you start scratching your head.
They are there, just not moving until dark ..just :Dlike the one in the pic. nocturnal.

Shoot if his time is right on that camera that buck most definitely could show up during daylight. Most of the bucks I get that are totally nocturnal show up between 12-2am. If I got that picture I'd be hunting the stew out of that deer.
