Using throw-an-mow techniques, I need to wait until the fall/winter crimson clover and wheat had seeded out and died before broadcast seeding my summer crops and then mow the dead fall/winter crop down on top as mulch. Last year, everything had seeded and died by May 20. This year, everything looks to be a week to 10 days late. Wheat is still green (although seeded out), and crimson still has some red blooms.
