planting fencerow ?

Had to clear my fencerow out to install and electric fence for some cows we are getting.

Problem is that now we have an unobstructed view of the Jerry Springer White Trash review down the street.

What would be a fast growing screen that might have some wildlife value? Seed would be preferable to planting seedlings and needs to grow about 6-7' tall and thick.

I would also like to plant this in the fencerow along the road to keep roadhunters from taking potshots into our fields.

I planted a double row of indigo bush for my hedge. they got to 6' tall the first year. I bought them from the Tennessee Division of Forestry. i will prune them this winter to make them bushier.

egyptian wheat gets about that tall and does it in just a year....might give you time to get some other stuff planted to block the view.
