Wheat is best just 3 -5 inches for deer to eat it...so plant it last or just a few weeks before season, wheat will grow on a rock...lol
 
I always shoot for second weekend of september depending on rain.......
Are you mixing the clover and wheat? and or Peas and wheat or planting all separate?

Always a good date to shoot for. Sow the peas and wheat together, cover, then top sow the clover and leave it on top.

All of it is going around the backyard. I have an old logging road that runs down one side that's probably 150' long on my property that I was planning on putting wheat and peas on. The clover along the edge and into the back side of the back yard. Just looking for something that'll feed them a little into the winter.

I'm going to overseed my yard with a rye in the fall. I figure they will eat on that too a little. They did at my other house.

Are you wanting it for archery, muzzleloader, or rifle? You still have plenty of time. I wouldn't plant before Labor Day anyways.
