Food Plots Plant now?

Turnips, seems early but I have planted in past this soon with great results. Seems like a wet and cool time?

thought the same thing... planted a plot last weekend and the rain rolled in after we left. So long as the end of August doesn't bake, I think we will be alright.

Planting turnips are okay, but I'd wait on wheat, oats until mid sept

I plant turnips for my own consumption...... always plant 2nd week of august they do fine.....i have planted turnips in my FP but my deer won't eat the bulbs they love the greens though.....

The deer smoked the bulbs in my garden last year. I waited until oct to plant, but we never really had a winter.
