I got a bottle of the gold last year at BPS. First thing I noticed was I had to increase the volume to measured powder at 115 grains to match the volume of pyrodex at 90. It shot good and hard. I shot about 20 times over 3 days just to verify the consistancy of the loads and powder. No major issues. The powder leaves a white film in the barrel that is very easy to clean up but after about 5 shots i was brushing my gun every shot or I could not get a sabot down the barrel. As far as clean up it is a piece of cake. Water is all it takes. I read a lot about this powder and there were a lot of negatives with the velocity inconsistancy between shots due to grain size. I did not seem to have that problem. I would not recommend the pellets as they are very inconsitant in weight and volume. I am shooting a Knight MK85 with a #11 primer and 240 grain sabot with black jacket. Using the #11 primer the powder never failed to ignite. Hope this helps. I will shoot it again this year.
One other thing you need to be aware of. This stuff will strip your barrel clean on the inside. When you clean up you will see pits and imperfections you have never seen before. After each cleaning I use some bore butter to coat the inside of the barrel so it will not rust. TH64
