Pile of Puppys

A friend sent me this picture he made of a pile of 4 coyote pups this am in Bedford Co. He said there was another one off to the side a bit. One of them looks like a black phase. Something you don't see every day.

Call me heartless but I would kill them without batting a eye...

Probably 10 years ago or more I was turkey hunting with another guy. Heard him shoot and when I eventually made it back to camp i didn't see a bird and asked where it was. He had shot a coyote that was carrying something in its mouth. He thought it was a rabbit and it ended up being a pup. Killed them both when he shot.

I'd really hate to, but if armed would feel compelled to kill them all as swiftly and humanely as possible.

Amen to that. Rotten things are out of hand, killing a few pups now would save a lot of fawns and poults.

Yeah curious about this as well. Unit L here, and I would not hesitate. Matter of fact, unless I had a wallhanger in front of me during deer season I am taking a shot on a yote every time it presents itself regardless of season.

If I were armed I would shoot all of them, if not I would stomp them to death....they wouldn't have been living when I left.
