I'm looking into purchasing the 1858 BP Remington Pistol, with an extra cylinder, and also the R&D 45 colt conversion cylinder for the 2 pistols in one thing. It's Time!
Any suggestions?

From what Ive read the Pietta quality has greatly improved over the last few years, where the ubertis have gone down, I have a pietta 1858 and I llike it alot. Mine was customized a little. It shoots great. Mine has a 5 in barrel. I would look hard at the 5 in version sure is handy with the shorter barrel. Just my 2 cents worth. hope it helps ya.

Is that the one with an empty chamber that wont fit a projectile, for the hammer to safely sit on?
Smoking do you shoot balls or conicals?

10-4 I was looking at the 7 1/2" for better vel and accuracy, but the 5 would probably be lighter and handle better.
Thanks
