Picture/Video Question

I've never had a trail camera that was capable of taking pics as well as videos until now and the directions aren't clear. Can they be set up to do both?

I always wanted one that could do both simultaneously. I like the pics for clarity and videos as well.

The new ReconyX UltraFire XR6. It's a no glow Covert camera capable of pics and/or videos. All the directions say is that the camera will take pics with default settings (which are adjustable)...default being 3 pics with a 2 second delay or a 10 second video. It's very vague on how to set it up to do both simultaneously. I just got it and may not get it figured out before putting it out this weekend. Guess I'll call the company tomorrow for info.

After talking to their reps I found out that the camera alternates between the two if both features are turned on. It'll take a 3-5 pic burst (depending on setting) followed by a 10-30 second video (depending on setting. Can't wait to set it out.

That what my coverts do, but I haven't ever used the video mode.
