I would like to see some pics from your setups this morning. I had my appendix removed last week and over did it hunting the last two days. So I'll be laid up till go to doc app monday or gonna try to stay in anyway.


Wish I was able to climb a tree this morning. Look forward to seeing some pics. Good luck to everyone. Kill a good one for me!

Nice pic! You are making me wish I was out there! I had the option of hunting alone this weekend or with some buddies Monday and Tuesday. I opted to go with my buddies, but I am second guessing myself now. At least I got some meat for the freezer last week. Seeing deer all over the place on the drive home from work this morning didn't help any.

Ground hunting today. While I dozed off I had 2 deer sneak in and bust me. Cold, but good morning so far.

Update. You can't see it in the pic but he's a fork horn. Would have been a chip shot with the rifle. But with 1 buck tag left, he got a free pass.

He was looking at me for that pic, but he didn't care much and eventually walked off quietly without busting me.

Well correction just seen a little spike with about 3 inch spikes and let him walk and somebody close just shot. Im sure it was him. Should have shot him

Proli do a midday hunt tomorrow I can' take it. How many people have killed mature deer after ten? I have a killed a 130 " 9 at 11:00 and a 125" ten at 11:45. Two best deer I have although I have missed two that were in the 140 range. Those two were in the morning and evening.
