Anybody have an update on how good the bass are bitin? I havent had a chance to go in a long time due to work and deer huntin

Was down there Fri. lastweek and it SUUUUCKED! :( Was there with 10-12 other boats (Bassboat Central Rally) and few caught fish. BILLIONS of shad in the shallows, the fish are STUFFED and need only open their mouths and inhale to get fed!

if I were yall I would go fishing with just a cast net... stock up on shad for catfishing or something

Pretty darn tough right now. Water temp is moving to fast to much. We starting getting these cold fronts that are consistant, it'll probably improve.

My son and I fished Pickwick Saturday and Sunday and it was a little slow.

HatchieLuvr is right, there are billions of shad in the creeks ---- it is fun when you hit a spot at the right time and find bass chasing them though.

We got into them a few times and caught about 20 fish Sunday.

Panther Creek ought to be crawling with shad right now. Probably walk across them.
