Pickwick 6-1-2011, first tarp fish

Had some motor trouble but managed to catch over 30 bluegill, a few white bass, and a 4 pound smallie that made the 20 inch mark for the tarp program, I've caught other fish that would have made it but this is the first one I'm turning in.

11 bluegill, 1 longear sunfish, 3 white bass, 1 smallmouth

my 2nd best smallie ever, yes he is dead, had to get fried up

easy, what lures were you using on those bluegill? Any big ones?

I have been using a tiny black beetle jig with some luck. I have been fishing in the coves near the state park with little luck.

a good ole cricket under a bobber and I was fishing up against the dam, they weren't the biggest bluegill I've caught but they were big enough to filet with an electric knife
