Who here has put down the bow for a year or so then picked it back up.

I bowhunted a good 15 years and hung it up, sold the bow, and haven't pulled one back in about 3-4 years.

Before I hung it up I was a dead eye and it was a sinch to pull 65+ lbs.

How long did you go? How hard was it to get back into the swing of things with draw weight and accuracy?

I have never gone that long with shooting my bow.But a friend of mine i got back into it last year.He bought him a new bow and was pulling i think 65 pounds and he was shooting right on after we got him sighted in.Now he had to build his stamnia up pulling and holding the bow.But he was back in the grove as far as shooting pretty fast.I guess like riding a bike once you learn how to you can get back on it and ride it.Just takes awhile to get the feel back.

I'm starting from scratch and was able to shoot about 12 shots today in good form with a 60# draw weight. I started to fall away after that. It must be nice to draw 65#.
