I think he should be. Did he bet against his own team ever? I don't know. If he did, maybe he doesn't belong.

Yes.... There are other players I'm sure that are in the Hall of Fame that had character flaws. Pete is probably being punished more for his lying than his actual act of gambling. No different than when we were kids and the punishment would be a lot worst if you got caught lying.

The reason I go with yes, would be that Pete's #s and his play on the field should of got him in.

Yes, but I am highly biased. I grew up in Ohio and was a crazy Reds and Pete Rose fan. Used to go to Riverfront Stadium all the time with my buddies. Those were some good times.
