Trying to help these guys get some exposure here in the US. These bullets are made in South Africa but are now available online through their webpage from a US distributor. Cost is very reasonable for a premium bullet coming in around a dollar each. The design is similar to Barnes but uses a brass plunger instead of a poly tip. A cool thing is you can do your load development with their Match bullet which are about half the cost of the hunting bullet and then use the same load on the paired PlainsMaster, still need to range verify to check your POI.

I have been shooting the PlainsMaster in my 300 WSM and my 270-300 Win Mag. I was able to achieve less than one inch groups with very little load development at the range so on paper I give them thumbs up. I will be testing them in the field here in a few weeks when I go back over.

This is an innovative design and looking forward to seeing how they perform on game. Thought I would share as we can't ever have too many options as reloaders. If you order some let me know what you think and I can give you some reloading tips on them.

This is the point you want to go shoot a piggie and check just how well the bullet does or does not perform as expected.
 
Yes definitely would like to knock a hole in something other than a target to see what happens.
 
You can order from their website. They are just building their inventory now in the States so some calibers and weights are limited as they are trying to determine demand. They ship from Arizona and I ordered a couple hundred and I think shipping was less than $10.
 
I was looking at the 400gr. I wanted to just get 20 or 25 can't remember what the lowest quantity was that they sold. I have an awesome load for 405 lead round that I was hoping would be close to as accurate with this bullet so I could take it hunting this season to see how it performed before I committed to a larger quantity.
