anyone noticed alot of people selling quality pellet rifles cheap? i have seen 2 this week one was a gamo big cat for 50 bucks, the other was a crossman storm xt,i bought the gamo and the guy told me his shots were all over the paper and couldnt return it.i just ran into this problem with my dads air rifle, and i believe i have found the culprit.on both rifles the one i bought and my dads, they were using the crossman ammo which make sense to some people, the 177 pellets fall right in to the chamber no force at all to get them in,on my first gamo rifle i started using some rws pellets with the same problem so i switched to gamo rockets and you have to put some pressure on the pellet to get it in, meaning it fits more snug,we switched to gamo pellets with my dads pellet gun and bam that was the problem.same with the big cat i just bought, the guy i bought it from gave me 3 tins full of daisy pointed pellets which i put on a shelf in the garage, the reason for posting this is for anyone that comes across a pellet rifle for sale that the deal is to good to be true, most say it just dont shoot right and 9 times outta 10 this was the problem.so if anyone finds a good deal on a air rifle buy it and use gamo ammo because they fit tighter than other pellets
