hey guys im getting old and im noticing that my pins are not as clear as one time were. does anyone use a verifier or clairifier ?if so whats the diffrence any pros or cons .thanks for any help

A clarifier will clean up the sight picture down range, but make the pin slightly fuzzy. A verifier will clean up the pin, but make the downrange sight picture fuzzy. It's a trade off, either way. Of course, all of this has to do with your vision. I do use a clarifier on my competition rigs, mainly because I want to be able to see the rings and detail at 40ish yds. However, when it rains during a competition you will see everyone frantically grabbing anything they have to cover those clarifier and verifiers up because if weather gets in there, then it can be pain to get out when your on a 3D course. It is for that reason you will never see me use one in the woods. Any moisture that gets in there on a cool fall morning will fog that sucker up and seeing out of it will be problematic.

That being said, technically your pin should be fuzzy because you should be focusing on the downrange target and let the pin float and remain kinda transparent—never look at the pin when aiming, instead look thru it.

I hope this answers your question and let me know if you have any other.
