Seeing fresh scrapes popping up. This was up wolf creek way. Got permission to hunt a 120acre and a 85 acre tract. Its got quite a bit of deer sign on it.
 
Ive hunted the Mtns in Morgan and Scott co's many years and I feel like the best time to hunt is the last 2 weeks of November.

If i had to choose id take the first 2 weeks in Nov.
 
I guess I should clarify areas, Morgan and Scott people may not be familiar with under the mountain since you don't have any of that in your county. That just means the rim area down off the actual plateau like in West, NW and Northern Fentress, where I primarily hunt once ML and rifle get here. When I say on the mountain, I just mean on the plateau. Yall probably think of on the mountain meaning like way up high around Frozen Head and all, that's not what I was meaning.

Killed my 151 inch buck on the Scott county border chasing 2 does hard as he could DECEMBER 10!!!
 
I hunt all three counties regularly and have seen moderate differences between them. I have seen chasing as early as November 5th and as late as the 30th.
