After 82 days clean I had to go to dentist this morning and get 2 bad teeth cut out with no gas and tell them I was allergic to any narcotic pain meds...
I been wondering how I would handle it when something like this came up but so far nothing has been worse than the thoughts of those first 3 weeks after I stopped using to make me even consider taking any more of that crap..

Yall pray for me to make it through the next couple days sober.

Prayers sent,that stuff is bad addictive and it takes a mighty strong person to get clean and more $ needs to be spent in order to help folks break the hold. I thought it was tough quitting smoking but dont think it can hold a candle to prescription drugs, i stay away from them as I'm afraid I could fall rite into the same boat

so far the path has had me in the Hospital 8 days,,inpatient rehab for 33 days and 20 3 hour outpatient sessions,,

my wife ,kids and all my family ,friends, all Dr`s and Therapist ,everybody at work and really just everybody has been really good and nobody has given me any grief over it at all,,which has really helped me through it a lot,,

I really feel for some of the people I have went through this with that are all alone and dont really have anyone,,
 
Like I used to tell the guys I would talk to in jail about this, Look at your kids would you want them to follow in your footsteps? Use this as a chance to show them what not to do and that you can overcome anything when you put your mind to it
 
Well I have made it 3 plus days since having the dental work with no narcotics..
And actually feel better today than I have in a long time. Hopefully turning a corner

Keep on keeping on Eric! :super: Brother I sure hope I never have to face what you've faced. But, I'm glad I haven't ever gotten started for sure.
