Patterning a Mossberg 535

I bought a 535 when I first got out of boot camp just to do it and now seven years later I decide to shoot and pattern it. The gun patterns well but the entire pattern is about a foot low. What can I do to correct this? This is not going to be my primary turkey gun but would like it for a back up just in case. Any advice would be appreciated.

Put some sort of adjustable sights on it.

Red dot will do the trick.

Does it have a rear sight? If so remove it and it will more than likely fix your problem.

Sorry for the delay.... I have considered a red dot but was wondering if there was something that would actually fix the gun its' self?
