Figure it will taste better that way LOL
Well my group was "one of those" this weekend.
We were extremely lucky to be drawn in the first draw for a blind spot.
21st out of 35.
Second draw we got 6th.
Like it or not the draw at Gooch was handled very well by TWRA and went very smoothly.
It still felt very differently but we were one of the lucky ones that the new process actually helped.
Saw something I have never seen before as well.
One of the very early picks in the first draw the group went up there and all of a sudden the activity stopped.
I could tell something was going on, as it is normally a very quick process.
Larry came on the PA and said to be totally transparent he wanted to address this issue.
The guy that got drawn had put both his cards in the barrel.
No clue if it was his first time there and he didn't understand how it worked or what but his entry was kicked out and they had to re-draw for that spot. :(
I felt terrible for the guy and his group.
Sadly they ended up not getting another name drawn for the first draw.
