I was wondering if y'all had and pass shooting tips. I don't have decoys and I ain't never tried to call ducks but thought about doing some pass shooting. Also this would be new to me. What is a good all around shot for geese and ducks. Probably won't get any hunting in this year but I definitely want to try it next year.

For ducks and geese you need BB.

Season closed last sunday btw except for the snow goose conservation season. Pass shooting is all about scouting where they are flying low enough to come into range.

If you're after both, I wouldn't go any smaller than 2, and probably stay larger than BB. There are BBB, but they are really overkill on ducks. Right now I'm shooting 3 and 4 shot during woody/teal season, and then during regular season, I have a 2 in the chamber, a 2 next in line, and a BB finisher for a bit more range as they fly out.
