Took a spin into the BPS pro shop today and felt every bow they had in the shop. I kept going back to the Parker Legend. When I got to shoot it I was very pleased. Is Parker a good brand?

Sounds like a good poduct for the price. The Legend felt good, may try a Raptor. It has more speed but is not too much heavier.

We got a Parker for my 14 yr old Daughter. We like that they have a grow-up program. As she needs to up grade her bow, we just send the limbs in and pay 50.00 and get the next one up.

Go to archerytalk and buy one of last years models for half price, you will end up with a very nice complete set up for less than the price of just a new bow.

My first bow was bought out of the paper, "Thrifty Nickel" for $25.00

My second was bought used off of e-bay for 1/3 it's original cost.

My third (and present) bow was bought from a Mathew's Dealer, it was his personal bow. Mathew's had even engraved his name into the grip.

Great bows, but lots of people call me cheap!:)

i have been using a parker ultra lite 31 for 4-5 years (still keeping it) but i just picked me up a parker blackhawk XP with g5 5 pin sights, trophy taker fall away rest and a doinker stabilizer...im excited
