Pack straps for tree stand

Need some ideas. My pack straps are broke on my climber. I need something quick as the season opens Saturday. Any one got any ideas?

I'll tell you what NOT to use. I need to send the ones I ordered for my son back. The MOLLE II Enhanced Shoulder Straps are just too specialized, heavy, and redundant if you ask me.

This is what I use on mine. I ditched the frame and tied the straps and kidney belt directly to my lock-on. It makes long walks a lot more tolerable.

I went 2 days ago to out surplus store and they didn't have them
and acted like he had no clue what I was asking for.
Going to have to order mine I reckon.

Tell them its a Molle Ruck Sack: shoulder strap/load bearing straps and molded waist belt.
you can also add a Sustainment Pouch to your upper section. Great for extra water bottles, calls, straps, lunch, and your saw. Its the one in the pic attached to my upper section on the right

Not if you take a spill. I will say it's not near as risky as carrying a Summit upside down, though.

Well that's how all tree strands are carried. And the pack rides nowhere near my neck. Easiest most comfortable straps I have ever worn.

Well my old API bowhunter had that same setup. Puts the weight of the stand above my waist and it's ok. I adjusted the stand so that the upper back pad is on my shoulder blades. Just like I did in the Army. Those serrations from the stand are almost in the middle of my back. So, there is 0 possibility of injury in case of a fall.

I don't understand why people thing the spikes are going to hit my head. They are too far back and low on my back that they would never contact any part of my body in a fall. I will put it on and get a pic.
