Finished up my first pack mount for a good friend. His son brought in his deer for a euro mount and we decided this buck deserved a little somethin more. Customer grew up on our property, so the birch frame was sourced from a tree on the property and hand carved with an axe (not a maul 😂) to make it look more authentic. His late Daddy's hunting shirt was added to the pack as well. It was a fun project. I delivered it yesterday and he was happy with it. This is why I love what I do, creating something that will have a lifetime of memories. Not posting for accolades, just sharing a cool project.

Yes, it's JM stamped 😂 (of course)

Very nice!

I like how compact these are, doesn't take up as much space as a normal shoulder mount.

Seems like a nice compromise between euro and shoulder mount.

On the attachment rope between the brow tines, Do you think if you made the upside V shorter it would have made the antlers look taller?
