What type mounts do you guys use on ARs. Extra high mounts or a p.e.p.r?

I've got a p.e.p.r. on my 6.8spc. Works great. Can't say about other brands as all my other ARs have red dots.

One Burris PEPR and one Nikon M223. Both are one piece cantelever style. Very pleased with both.

I use Geissele and Larue one-piece mounts on mine. After having an SWFA SSALT (similar to the PEPR) come loose, I went away from budget mounts. Standard rings will make it difficult to get appropriate eye relief on most scopes.

Mine is an amazon PEPR clone. Works great. Was shipped to the door under $30 6.8spc

I too had a SWFA SSALT fail on me. I am going to try the Warne XSKEL on my current build. It's just a plinker so I don't need anything terribly rugged.

Good to know. I have never been let down by Warne yet so thought I would give it a try.

I use riser blocks under Burris Signature zee rings; this works well for me.

There's no reason to pay extra for the 45 degree offset rails that you're just going to take off. For Warne, the XSKEL is the way to go.
