I finally had a chance this week to work on a new plot of mine this week. It is just a little piece about 1/2 acres that has some fescue and a pretty good stand of clover.
I wanted to go in and overseed it with the 8 way clover blend that Ive been planting, but not wanting to loose my existing clover by working it down. I thought Id snap a few pictures to show how I did it. I just straighted out the gangs on my disc and waited for the rain that we had on Thursday to soften the ground and it worked wonders and turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Disced it lightly, and then broadcast the clover and came back with my cultipacker to pack the seed down.

Also wanted to update my Eagle bean plot that I planted on July 4th. This is a corner of a 25 acre corn field that was too wet to plant in the spring. I planted it July 4th, and Im really pleased with how it turned out, considering I only sprayed it once. Look how many pods these beans produced and the height of them. This is a couple of plant, next to my truck, and the tires are 35 inches tall.
