Food Plots Over seed in bean feild???

Has anyone ever over seeded where beans are currently planted so there will be some sort of forage for the deer after beans have been harvested. I have had great luck with buck forage oat and was thinking of over seeding once beans start to turn. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have my clients do it all the time.

I had nice results last year. Make sure to get the oats in as soon as you start to see some color change to make sure they get plenty of cover from the leaves..... If you go with wheat, that wont matter as much.

Thanks for the info. I think I will get it out next week. Very curious about results. Once the beans are gone we will only have crp browes

richmanbbq... How do you sow the seed? I sowed 200lb yesterday and it was no fun to say the least..Hope the results are worth it.
