I have talked about going on a nice hunting trip for years. My wife is encouraging me too do it next fall. Looking for suggestions. I'd like to keep costs to around $2000.

I agree, and would recommend maybe paying a trespass fee in maybe Iowa or Ill.

Thanks, I have decided a paid trip is not within my budget 2800 for a 5 day bow hunt in pike county Illinois was the best I could come up with. I'd like to hook up with some one that does the dyi hunts and trade out a hunt on our place in Tennessee to show me the ropes the first year.
