35-40 mph winds. 30 degree temp drop. i'm ready to go home!!!
One of the best trips I ever had was out of Oregon Inlet in 20 to 30 foot swells with the wind at about 30 MPH out of the east. 2 of us put over 500lb of fish in the boat on a half day trip.

there is some damage. the road is closed south of oregon inlet to all but local and construction traffic. north is fine. there is some brush piled around and you can see where the water has been up. most of the damage we see is limited to siding and shingles blown off.

all the locals are saying the fishing will be great 2 or 3 days after this front. i caught 1 tiny bluefish yesterday which was the only bite i've had since tuesday.
