Going to Mississippi below Oxford. Took my son on their youth hunt this past weekend, and had a bird talking on the limb, but he only gobbled once on the ground. Had a jake cruise by out of range, but we were blind hunting and couldn't put the Mohican sneak on him. Good warm and dry weekend coming up and I CAN'T WAIT

Did you hear much gobbling? We had 3 birds gobbling their heads off Friday when it was 32 degrees. Saturday we heard one gobble and we bumped him in the dry woods and Sunday was completely dead.
