Other deer sounds

I didn't want to hijack the snort wheeze thread but has anyone heard bucks making a ticking or clicking sound? I've only heard it once when I watched a young buck chasing a doe in front of me. All the other sounds I've heard, the bucks were grunting and making an almost moaning sound.

I've heard it twice that I can recall. Both times they were chasing does.

I've seen video of bucks making that clicking sound, but never heard it in person.

Yes, have watched and heard a couple do this both in the woods and in open field. Pretty cool encounters.

Always enjoy watching and listening to deer. Successful hunts in my book when the deer teach you something you have never seen before.
