ordering parts from Ruger ???

Anybody ever done this I just got a p89 and I was cleaning it and blow out the left magazine release button and can't find it in my garage any where. Find a parts list on line it says it cost 5.25 plus 3.00 shipping and to send it to ruger can I just send an money order and get it ship out or how does it work. Maybe talk to a smith?
