After taking yall's advice I started looking for a Sightron SIII 6x24x50 and after a few days I have managed to find one on SampleList.com for $699 and figured I would try it. Even if it does'nt cut it for the .338 LM it should do just fine on the .260 I built last year.
 
I really think you will be pleased,,I wish all mine were mil/mil or moa/moa,,all this conversion BS sux,,
and I dont understand why it should cost more to make a mil/mil scope than it does a mil/moa..
 
sounds like you got a good price also,,put it in soe good solid mounts and I doubt you will have any problems,,

gonna be watching for updates on how it tracks on a heavy rifle like that at range,,I am gonna have my 700 300 RUM action turned into a 338 Edged or a fast twist 300 RUM some time in the next year or so..
