Orange requirement?

I'm a little confused on the florescent orange requirement for small game. In the book pg 20 has a 500sqin requirement for big game but i have not found any other requirement for small game, is it the same? I have no problem with orange it is just that my game vest is only about half orange or about 300sqin. I feel safe wearing it but am i in compliance?
I new here and not looking to get a ticket.

i think you have to wear the 500 only if you are out during big game season.

I will continue to were it unless i'm hunting critters that can see it like ducks and turkeys. Heck, i put a orange hat on when moving during turkey season. In my book orange is a must on public land. You just never know who is pointing what at you.

Yep. Don't have to wear it small game hunting during deer season. Don't have to wear it even deer hunting if u are hunting your own land, but it is probably a good idea
