OK, question for you guys. I am looking for new glass for my 300 RUM Sendero. I am liking the Minox brand scopes. Question is 2x10 or 3x15 Z5. I am thinking 50mm but cant decide on 2x10 or 3x15. The 2x has 47 feet field of view at low power and the 3x has 32. Most hunting will be in TN where majority of kills will be within 100-150 yards, but i want to take it west.

The 5x capability of the ZA5 is a hunters dream. If most of your shots are within 100-150, the 2-10 is plenty. Even for shots out to 500 or 600 yds, the 10x on the high end is plenty.

I chose the ZA5 3-15x for the possiblity of maybe doing some beanfield hunting or a trip out west. I probably wont use the highest power hunting, but it's nice to know you have extra magnification if you need it.
