I just received word that my cousin who is basically my big brother will be coming home in about 16 days from 3 years overseas. I'm trying to put together a few days hunt with an outfitter to get him some relaxing time in the woods and hopefully a deer. Can anybody suggest a good outfitter?

I've talked to a couple but would love people's opinions on one's they've used. I'm in Chattanooga and would ideally like something within a 4-5 hour drive since I'll be going with him.

I really would appreciate any information.

Goodman Ranch in Chester County. It's high fence, but whitetail hunting is based on state game laws. Beautiful property and you'll see lots of exotics.

Call Troy at Roblyns Neck in Darligton, SC. http://www.roblynsneck.com

Great food, great camp in the middle of 14,000 acres, for a reasonable price. He's usually booked up, but he can probably squeeze two in with another group. You'll have a legit chance to bring home a couple does, some hogs, and I have had an opportunity at a mature buck the last two years. You won't kill a booner, but you will have a awesome time.

They put one guy in a stand on property they didn't have permission to hunt, landowner asked him to leave.
Guide did not show up to take hunters out one morning. They just left and went home.
They put my buddy in stand one morning 1 hour before daylight, then another guide got lost while trying to put another hunter in stand. And drove by my buddy 3 times in that hour before daylight..
Had 48 hunters for the 2day Mzl hunt and only like 3 small bucks killed.. 120" or so....
