Opinions needed

Looking at a 1911 Springfield Armory A1 or a remington R1 . Of those 2 which would you guys go with

I had the springfield A1 a few years back,was a good gun,I like it alot,but like another gun just a little more so I traded it off.I have nothing bad to say about it.With your choices i'd go with the springfield over the remington

Anybody got a Remington with any specific complaints? I've yet to hear much about them.
