Although hot here in Clay county (65 - 70 at daylight), this has been the best bow opener I've seen. Have only hunted Saturday morning and this morning. Saw a 9 Pt and even larger 8 or 10, as well as two fours on opening morning. All were out of range (60 yards). My neighbor who hunts a small section of my land saw a spike and a small 3 pt. This morning I saw the same 9 pt, the larger buck, and a large 3 Pt on the same ridge line. Got a shot off on the larger deer, but at 35 yards from a 23 foot stand shooting downhill I ended up clean missing under it. It didn't seem too alarmed as it headed downhill. Gonna let that stand set for a week then try it again.
