I got a pretty good spot deep in the woods I came across last season tracking a deer.. question is would u hunt woods mornings mid day or evening next saturday ? Its very low pressure seeing I didn't make a trail I'd probably wake the whole woods up due to leaves. When has action inside the woods been hot for any yall this year?

Nobody can make that call without a ton more information. But with what you have provided, I'd likely hunt it all times of the day. I would not worry about the noise, might carry a stick and make it sound like a three or four-legged animal. However, I love hunting woods. The fact that you found the spot tracking a wounded deer says volumes. It is where I would be.

When I walk through the woods this time of year I take a few steps and pause...few steps and pause. I listen to hear anything moving.
