Opening Day

Killed 11 shoulda done better, the past 3 years this is the worst I have ever seen this field, what about everyone else? We started about 1-130 7 guys killed 44, last year there was a couple more shooters and we killed 123, it was 2nd weekend though can anyone remember if there was a cold front after the opener last year, surely a week dont make that much difference?

11 is a good day! If I remember correctly the weather was normal here last year and we had a good hunt.You are a bit north of us and it seems a cool front passed thru right after the opener.

Killed 4 and tag teamed one with my nephew. Worst day flying I've seen in quite some time. I only shot 16 shells and a few probably were too far but with so little going on I let 'em fly.

I got my limit on one of the Loudon county TWRA fields. Really started flying good right as I was finishing up. I will be back on Monday in the AM.

we had 16 guys and bagged a little over a 100 birds but last year we had 13 guys and 11 got there limit and the other 2 had 10 ,so this year was pretty slow compared to last yr.i hope somebody else had a better day than us ,but we did have a good time hanging out and B.S.n with each other

At 430 we got bombed with birds at public hunt...it was crazy...didn't slow down much after that ...first time public hunt so cant compare it to anything

Well the doves were out in force....shot 70 times killed 3 lol learned the hard way that turkey choke is no good for dove hunting.....brother killes 8 nephew got 2.....couple other guys on the field were in double digits....no tellin about the other adjacent field it got to the point the word "BIRD" had me turning circles!!!! For my first experience on a dove hunt Id say it was AWESOME!....on top of that it was a Region I public field. 4:30 seemed to be a light switch was turned on

13 here but it was hard earned. the birds were thick in the field in the morning but did not fly well in the afternoon.only shot about a box and a half of shells

We took 4 limits off our field but I only accounted for 5 of those

Which public hunt was you at? I went to Yanahli had tons of birds an not as many hunters as i expected.
