Hunted buddy's farm in western Washington county from 4-630 had a couple quick rain showers blow through but was lucky enough to get a limit and my 8year old son got his first five ever! Both of us got to shoot about box and a half of shells each. He was using a ATI over/under 410 and I got to try out my new Beretta a400 12 gauge. Fun shoot and proud dad.

Good deal! Your son will always remember the time spent together.

Sounds like you may be in the Sulphur Springs or Fall Branch area.

Well done congrats to both . By the way how do you like the a400
So far I like it a lot. Its a very fast cycling gun. IMO runs and shoulders better than the benelli sbe2 I've used the last 2 seasons. It's a little on the heavy side but it has eatin every shell I've put through it (200ish from super light loads to 3 1/2 magnums) flawlessly and I have been tryin to make it jamb. Seems very well built and robust. Will be able to give a real deal honest review after duck season is over. Not cheap by any means but good tools ain't.

Looks like a great time. Been looking for a .410 over under for my kiddos to begin with.

So I've gotten about 10 boxes of shells through my Maxus II, and it's shot well. But it's been slightly finicky in feeding ammo. 3x's over the weekend, the feedramp has timed just enough that it blocked a shell coming out of the magazine. Poke it through and it runs right in just fine, but there were 3x's I couldn't follow up a shot. They were all 3 out of the same box of Browning ammo....it's the only one that has given issue.
